Ronald McDonald House San Diego – Padres Room Installation
In partnership with the San Diego Padres Foundation & Rady Children’s Hospital
Coastal Signs Plus had the great honor of adding hometown spirit to the Ronald McDonald House in San Diego. We transformed one of its guest rooms into a fully immersive Padres-themed experience. This special project collaborates with the San Diego Padres Foundation and Rady Children’s Hospital. Its goal is to uplift spirits. It seeks to bring joy and comfort to families staying at the house.
We transformed the space with custom vinyl wall murals. These murals take you directly to Petco Park. They feature a stadium backdrop, crowd scenes, and large graphics of Padres pitcher Yu Darvish. Retired jersey wall signs honor legendary players. A replica of the Western Metal Supply Co. building adds a striking, three-dimensional presence. This display features a custom acrylic FCO sign.
The attention to detail didn’t stop there. We created custom acrylic Padres signage for the room. We also made a mini foul pole replica from metal. Additionally, we designed a fully integrated TV enclosure. This enclosure fits seamlessly into the mural and hides all wall gaps with a custom metal frame. Each piece was carefully designed and installed. This ensures the space feels like a true Padres clubhouse for families during their toughest moments.
This project extended beyond mere signage. It focused on storytelling and community engagement. The goal was to create a space that truly embodies San Diego. We’re proud to have played a part in such a meaningful collaboration.
