Coastal Signs Plus designed, fabricated, and installed a custom exterior signage package for Poke Etc in Pacific Beach, combining dimensional branding, channel letter signage, and custom-fabricated logo elements to create a distinctive storefront identity.
Custom Shaped Logo Cabinet
The centerpiece of the storefront is a custom-fabricated shaped logo cabinet featuring Poke Etc’s recognizable fish-and-wave brand mark. Rather than applying the logo to a conventional rectangular sign panel, CS+ fabricated the cabinet around the circular profile of the artwork, giving the logo additional dimension and a more integrated appearance on the building façade.
The cabinet features a white face with blue graphics and formed metal returns, creating a clean dimensional presentation that coordinates with the restaurant’s primary signage.
Custom Channel Letter Signage
Alongside the logo cabinet, CS+ fabricated and installed individual POKE ETC channel letters across the stucco façade. White faces and blue detailing carry the restaurant’s established color palette across the complete sign package, while carefully considered letter sizing and spacing provide strong visibility from both the sidewalk and surrounding street.

Pacific Beach Lettering & Custom Hibiscus Detail
A secondary PACIFIC BEACH identifier was incorporated beneath the primary wordmark, helping connect the restaurant’s branding to its local neighborhood. The location lettering follows the same white-and-blue visual treatment as the primary signage for a consistent appearance.
CS+ also fabricated the colorful hibiscus accent as an individual shaped element, adding another dimensional detail to the storefront while preserving the character of the original Poke Etc identity.
Precision Installation on Stucco
The complete signage system was installed directly onto the building’s textured stucco exterior. Careful layout and mounting were essential to maintain consistent alignment and spacing across the logo cabinet, channel letters, secondary lettering, and decorative elements.
The dimensional construction also creates natural depth and shadow against the façade, helping the signage remain visually distinct while integrating cleanly with the architecture.
